Wills & Estates

Having a will is important, because it governs how your property will be dealt with after your death. Many people have quite simple wills, including wills they have drafted themselves. In some cases these will be perfectly adequate; however specific will drafting techniques can actually increase the benefits that flow to your family or other beneficiaries - for instance by dividing your estate in a way that legitimately minimises tax - or which provides a degree of control over property through the use of trusts.  'Home made' wills purchased from the newsagent may be cheap to buy, but  may not offer value depending on individual circumstances.

Mullane & Lindsay has decades of experience in will drafting. We can not only draft your will to give effect to your wishes, but we can also often suggest better ways to implement them.

We are also very experienced in the administration of deceased estates, and can assist the executors of a will to carry out the wishes of a deceased person in a timely and cost effective fashion.
